Please join us at The MOFF Bazaar, hosted by our dear friends of the Maine Outdoor Film Festival! This is a free event and open to the public.

 

The Bazaar will host the below vendors along with food trucks, beer, music, games (horseshoes, bocci, corn hole etc), gear sales and more!

Grab a blanket/chair and post up with MOFF on Saturday, July 22nd! This event is taking place at GMRI on the grassy waterfront field behind their offices (Google Maps Link) and will lead into our Saturday night screening of the CORMORANT PROGRAM. Tickets for this screening will be available for purchase at the Bazaar.

Justines – Justine is a freelance graphic designer and artist specializing in captivating watercolor creations. She creates custom wedding invitation suites that blend her love for typography and watercolor illustrations. She has a deep appreciation for nature and a soft spot for mushrooms!

Maine Aquaculture Association – The Maine Aquaculture Association is a non-profit trade association that represents the Maine aquaculture industry at the state, federal, and international levels. Our members grow shellfish, fin fish, and sea vegetables. Since 1978, we have worked to support Maine’s aquatic growers in developing economically and environmentally sustainable business practices, promote the benefits of aquaculture in the local food system, and preserve Maine’s heritage of a vibrant working waterfront.

Going strong since 2018, we accept in season consignment of human powered outdoor gear. Run, ski, or bike in to see the daily changing items for sale, or consign your gently used gear.

Wild Sol Jewelry –  Wild Sol Jewelry is inspired jewelry that encourages individuals to connect deeper to the natural world and their essence. The pieces are inspired by asymmetry, balance, feeling, color, and adventure. The designs are light-filled and offer space for reflection. Wild Sol Jewelry aims to adorn the wearer in beauty and light. The owner and maker, Natalie, makes everything in her Portland, ME studio.

The Banned Bookstore – The Banned Bookstore is a Maine-based, women-owned bookstore focused on curating a diverse and inclusive offering of titles, including banned books, non-fiction, and fiction. Our main goal is encouraging already-passionate and new readers alike to read more and explore different topics and hobbies.

Hannah RJ Studio – Hannah Joseph is a nature-inspired artist who primarily works in printmaking and ceramics. Lately, she has been exploring print and fiber arts through secondhand fabrics. She strives to share the beauty of nature and to leave her audience with a deeper understanding of the great responsibility humans have for all beings on this planet.

The Gypsy & The Gentleman – We offer camping upfits for passenger vehicles that are perfect for families and camping enthusiasts alike. Our upfits can be installed into your SUV, making the process of packing, setup, breakdown, and return to storage much easier.

Oterra Designs – Oterra Designs was founded with a vision of creating unique, expressive, and high performing gear for the outdoor community. The name Oterra translates to ‘Of the Earth’, chosen because all of the designs are inspired by the environment around us, and also because the brand is committed to sustainability and doing their part to take care of the planet, using recycled materials whenever possible. Every product is handcrafted with love and attention to detail in Biddeford, Maine. 

Sebago Clean Waters – Sebago Clean Waters is a coalition of conservation organizations and the Portland Water District working to protect the forests around Sebago Lake that naturally filter Greater Portland’s drinking water supply, provide critical wildlife habitat, and offer exceptional recreational opportunities. With the help of businesses and communities that depend on a healthy Sebago Lake for their well-being, we have permanently conserved nearly 10,000 acres of forestland in the past five years.

Falmouth Land Trust – Falmouth Land Trust cares for over 2700 acres of forests, farms, fields, and waterways in Falmouth. Enjoy 55 miles of trails and events and programs for kids and adults!  

WinterKids – WinterKids is the only nonprofit in Maine dedicated exclusively to increasing outdoor physical activity in children and families during our longest, most sedentary season. We create opportunities for children to be active, vibrant and healthy in the outdoors, through our free, innovative educational and community programs that introduce children to fun ways to enjoy being outside and active in winter.

White Pine Bath Brew – White Pine Bath & Brew is a woman-owned small business created in the summer of 2020 in the heart of South Portland, Maine. We design luxury, vegan, palm oil free skincare with a specialty in soap made from local, craft beer. That’s right – beer!

Sperry General Store – Sperry General Store is a décor and gift-focused shop specializing in vintage style travel posters, prints and handcrafted artisan items. 

Malibu Maine – Malibu Maine is an imaginary hometown and home base to two children’s books that celebrate Maine’s wildlife and geography by local author and filmmaker Tonya Shevenell. Visit Tonya at the Bazaar if you’d like to see The Maine Birthday Book and Hop Onward Rabbit Rabbit: A New England Cottontail’s Journey. She will be selling and signing books.

Birch Bark Vases – vases are individually handcrafted  in Maine from thoughtfully foraged birch bark, lichen and fungi, previously owned glassware, and silicone. I do not take bark from live trees. Only bark from fallen, decaying branches and trunks is used.

L.L. Bean – Our team at L.L.Bean is committed to ensuring sustainable and responsible practices across our business, from the materials we use to the vendors we work with to the causes for which we support. We’re on a constant mission to care for all of our stakeholders: our customers, employees, vendors, communities and the natural environment.

Mermaid Meadow – Mermaid Meadow is the illustrative artwork of Bevin Holmberg. Most of Bevin’s work is inspired by the sea, Maine wildlife and a touch of Scandinavian folk art. She works primarily with paint and wood, utilizing repurposed materials whenever possible. “The purpose of my artwork is to point to our planet’s beauty and to bring you joy.”

Portland Trails – Portland Trails is a non-profit urban land trust that transforms Greater Portland into a healthier and better-connected community. Our 76+ miles of trail system is within a 10-minute walk of every Portland resident. As a member-driven organization, our goal is to engage our community in making our neighborhoods more walkable, bikeable, sustainable, and equitable for all.

Scavenge Arts – Scavenge Arts creates collage mosaics out of recycled magazines and found objects. Original pieces are turned into prints and note cards.
